Dr. Sahba Jalali, one of Columbia's newest optometrists and clinical director of Advanced Vision, prides himself in offering state-of-the-art vision care and the latest vision correction options with a personal touch.

Raised in Columbia, Dr. Jalali attended Fairview Elementary, Jefferson Junior High and graduated from Hickman High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in Biochemistry from MU, and Doctor of Optometry from UM-St. Louis. He interned at Washington University and Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Dr. Jalali has extensive post-graduate training and experience in the areas of Laser vision correction, gentle corneal reshaping and the role of nutrition in eye disease prevention.

Dr. Jalali has lectured at the American Academy of Optometry and numerous State and local optometric societies.

Most recently, Dr. Jalali left his six year practice in Boise, Idaho to open his own private practice in his hometown of Columbia, Missouri. He brings with him cutting-edge technology in the area of vision improvement, contact lenses, prevention of eye disease and comprehensive vision care.
